This video shows the clouds above Noyon on August 11th 1999. Just after a dark totality, the clouds "thinned" enough for us to see some of the partial phases between P3 and P4. It had been a long, sleepless night, followed by hours of standing in a muddy field with limited facilities, and we hadn't even seen the eclipse. But we were hooked. |
